Everyone knows Voldemort is running out of time to live with the Potter family’s uprising. He knows his body won’t hold out forever.
Let’s say he wants to obtain immortality (like he always has been) and is now in the process of choosing his sacrifices, even his Death Eaters. Voldemort will want the most powerful to use as his blood, example: Harry, Harry’s kids, etc. just like he has always been trying to in order to keep himself alive. Also, the lives of normal, helpless witches and wizards? Though, what if he narrowed his most crucial sacrificial subjects down to even more powerful wizards to create a potion or elixir of some sort for the “final day”? Sort of like a liquid form of the Philosopher’s Stone he strived for in the first book, but stronger because it processes the lives of many people, including Potter’s? I know it’s a little unclear, but I believe this will make for a solid plotline. It feeds the Jacobs/Murder family quarrel, and leaves many opportunities for the Order side, such as the Potters and Smiths.
What do you all think?
