This was like a nightmare, the one he had sought to create for years, for decades. Only, it wasn't supposed to center around him. It should be Potter in this position, not himself. He was running out of time, his body was rotting, the skin melting away. It was what tonight's meeting was about. A simple spell could hide the way he was losing his power, but his Death (Dealers) Eaters were bound to find out sooner or later. If they didn't already...
So here he was, casting the spell for the fifth time in the past twenty-four hours. His feet shuffled across the floor, growing slower as he felt his energy being sapped. It was a difficult thing to hold up this charade for the time spans he did. Frankly, he was suprised it worked as well as it did. He wouldn't be achieving his goals with his body rotting away as it was, which, again, led to tonight's meeting.
He knew his Death Eaters would do whatever he told them to, whether it be through fear or respect. It was one thing he was absolutely positive about, because every one of them knew they could be dead in an instant should they displease him. It was easy to control them, even in this new, unpleasant physical state he was in. Relentless, they would still follow his orders.
He exhaled as the spell finished, taking a small breather. Within the minute, the sleeve on his left arm was rolled up, the Dark Mark revealed to the entire waiting room. The tip of his ivory wand pressed to his skin, dipping the skin.

The black haired, thirty something year old woman's ice blue pupils skirted at the corners of her eyes at the hag that stared in the direction of her, giving her son's hand a defensive squeeze. Ryan spent most of his time with her deceased husbands relatives; being a loyal and respected Death Eater meant she had plenty of enemies, and she wouldn't let Ryan become a victim of a jealous brigade. No, he had to be tucked away; Alina wasn't going to be responsible for yet another death... The woman winced as a pleasing, stinging pain shot up her left hand. Alina knew that she should be getting to the Malfoy Manor for a meeting with the Death Eaters and Voldemort- "Mum?" Alina blinked, looking down into her son's identical ice blue eyes. He had grown so much to be like his father... "Yes?" "Are you okay?" If there was anything that Ryan could do well, it was being sensitive on his mother's emotions. Such a trait might get him killed as a Death Eater... "Ryan, I have to go-" "Mum..." "-Listen. Grandfather is at Borgin and Burkes; why don't you go to him?" The young, mouse haired boy looked up at his mother. "But I never get to see you." If it weren't for the abseloute need to get to the meeting, she would have embraced her son for the first time in a long time. But she had to do this to get him away from the growing resistance as the Dark Lord grew weaker... "I'll be back. Don't you worry, my cucumber."
The raven haired woman thought back to her memories of a few minutes before, her icy eyes still with blankness. Just the mere memory of her son would alert him, since the Dark Lord was talented in detecting such things. He couldn't be endangered... Her bony hands around the brass handle, Alina Jacobs opened the door to the Drawing Room, finding her master there. She fell to her knees before him, her eyes full of adoration. "My Lord." She looked up at Voldemort, acting as a loyal hound would to it's master with unconditional devotion. "What purpose is this meeting, my Lord?"[/size]
